VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for the 2014 METRO ATLANTA HOMELESS CENSUS

City of Atlanta, DeKalb County and Fulton County

YOU COUNT so THEY COUNT!

On the night of January 27, 2014*, please join other community volunteers in counting and surveying homeless persons in the City of Atlanta, DeKalb County and Fulton County. Help us to understand the scope of homelessness in our community.

To best serve the homeless, we must gather accurate data on our homeless population to track the success of local efforts to end homelessness. By complying with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) requirements, such as conducting a homeless census, our community receives over $10 million annually in federal funding for homeless services and housing.

To sign up, click here.  Choose an area of the community that you would like to count.

Next, select the number of volunteers. Then, click on the register button.
